6. Will a rotary (either roller or chuck) be available for it?

Yes, a rotary attachment will be available as an addon for you to choose. Please note that during the deposite period, you will get a rotary attachment for free after you pay the deposite successfully.

7. Is the IR 20W input or output?

The 20W is output power.

8. Is the 20W laser IR or Fiber?

  • Actually, these two concepts are not contradictory at all. Think of it this way:
  • "IR laser" describes the wavelength (infrared range).
  • "Fiber laser" describes the technology (how the laser is generated and delivered).
  • A fiber laser is a type of IR laser, usually operating at 1064 nm, which falls within the infrared spectrum. But not all IR lasers are fiber lasers—CO₂ lasers, for example, also emit in the IR range (around 10,600 nm) but use a completely different mechanism. In the HD1's case, the 20W laser is both IR and Fiber laser.
